The security levels of our safes comply with European standard EN 1143-1 and are categorised in grades N/0 to V.
The security grade indicates how burglar-proof a safe is. Insurance companies use the EN grade to define the amount of cover for the insurable contents of the safe. Various mechanical and thermal burglary tools are used for testing. The longer the safe can withstand, the higher the resistance grade.

Our safes not only offer protection against burglary, but also against fire. Consider whether you want to protect important documents or data carriers specifically against fire.

Most safes have a conditional fire protection of 30 minutes for paper. In addition to the safes listed below, there are also specially certified fire safes for documents and/or data carriers which guarantee fire protection for up to 120 minutes.

Think about what you want to store in your new safe. The optimum size can be quickly determined based on the items to be protected. We recommend that you allow for a reserve of approx. 20% more. The price differences between the safe sizes are not very large, it would be a pity if after a few years you already have too little space in the safe and then possibly need a second safe.

Electronic code locks offer a high level of security and convenience. Choose the lock that best meets your requirements for user-friendliness and protection.

Is one code enough for you or are there several users?
Do you need a logging function?
Is a connection to the alarm system planned?
Are there other requirements such as dual control, delayed opening, threat alarm, remote locking?

A safe does not necessarily have to be connected to an alarm system. However, the risk of break-ins is significantly reduced if a safe is connected to the alarm.

IMPORTANT: Any safe can be broken into. It is always a question of criminal energy and the time available to a perpetrator to break into the safe undisturbed.
An alarm reduces this time and increases the risk for a perpetrator enormously. The triggered intervention makes it almost impossible for the perpetrator to reach his target. In most cases, a burglar will not even attempt to break in if an alarm system is in place.

The cantonal police's security advice service recommends that a good safe should be placed where it is easy to find. Preferably in an office or bedroom. But think about what is practical for you. It is important that it is securely fixed to the floor or back wall. Ideally with anchor bolts in concrete. Fixing in brick walls is also possible with suitable fixing material. We do not recommend fixing in lightweight construction or wooden walls.

When fixing to the floor, you must ask yourself whether underfloor heating is installed at the installation site.
